Working through the ranks and files, they soon found themselves mastering professional skills that came with their experience over the years and were ready to take the leap of entrepreneurship in 1997.
The company started its operations in a mere 30 sqm of office space with a 3-men team and minimal assets. Filled with fervor for success, both founders braved many challenges with courage and optimism. Today, they can proclaim significant milestones that have marked the growth of the company.

 The Entrepreneur of the Year AwardsInaugurated 21 years ago, The Entrepreneur of the Year award salutes and honours Singaporean entrepreneurs who have shown great achievement in their fields of expertise. This award is held as one of the most prestigious business accolades in Singapore and is the oldest award for entrepreneurship. Candidates go through stringent judging processes of corporate assessments, interviews and site visits by astute professionals who would determine the winners. A total of 15 candidates from various industries ranging from food & beverage, advertising, M.I.C.E. to dentistry, just to name a few, were awarded and one of which was Radius. Both Andy Yee, President and Daniel Yong, C.E.O. received the award on 16 September 2009 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister, graced the event. “This award will definitely provide a great impetus and spur Radius to scale new heights. It is also a testimony to the spirited teamwork and contribution brought forth by our partners, colleagues, business associates and vendors” said Andy Yee, President. |

| Spirit of Enterprise Awards In two consecutive years Radius has been acknowledged for its entrepreneurial spirit. A year after the company conferred the Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2009, it was one of thirty nominees who won the Spirit of Enterprise Award organised by a non-profit organisation – Spirit of Enterprise, with a mission to inspire the young generation and aspiring entrepreneurs in Singapore. The award was presented on 15 November 2010 at a gala dinner held at Grand Hyatt Hotel, graced by Mr Lee Yi Shyan, Minister of State for Trade & Industry and Manpower. |

Quality, Environmental and Safety Certifications
As part of Radius’ quest for excellence, the group recognises the importance of ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) and workplace safety and health. We believe that the certifications serve as a driving force to raise efficiency, work quality and safety at the workplace; all of which would greatly impact productivity and enhance our corporate image.
Year 2011 – Radius HQ & Singapore Attained ISO 9001:2008 & OHSAS 18001:2007
Radius HQ and Singapore offices were ISO certified in accordance to the Integrated Management System Policy. The drilling internal and external audits proved to be well-worth-the-effort as soon as the certification was promptly issued upon completion on 23 May 2011.

Year 2011 – Radius HQ & Singapore Attained bizSAFE Level STAR Certification
Radius fulfilled the requirements to attain the bizSAFE Level STAR on 13 Jul 2011; this certification recognises companies that exude commendable Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) performances. The company undertook a five-step programme covering risk capabilities management and implementation of the WSH Management System. A mandatory certification initiated by the Singapore Ministry of Manpower effective 1 September 2011; all industries and workplaces would have to be covered under the Workplace Safety & Health Act 2006.
Year 2009 – Radius Malaysia Attained ISO Certifications
MS ISO 9001:2008
This international standard certifies that Radius Malaysia operates a quality management system
which has been assessed to conform to the international requirements.
OHSAS 18001:2007
Radius Malaysia has been certified to have implemented an occupational health and safety management system that complies to the international standard.
Year 2008 – Radius Beijing Attained ISO Certifications

In order to qualify for the Quality Management System certification, Radius Beijing had to gain an average of 99% client satisfaction level, 98% first time design proposal approvals and entirely no onsite history of accidents, just to name a few.

– Exhibition Design & Related Environmental Management Activities)
The certification criteria generally consists of a stringent list of environmentally friendly guidelines that cover the types of materials used during construction and fabrication, office hygiene, onsite environmental protection methods and waste management.
